"A bullet for the change"

It was three o'clock in the morning when the phone rang.
- Hello?
- Hello, Mr Smith please?
- Sorry, you are wrong - He hung up.
It had been raining since midnight and he couldn't sleep well. He felt surprisingly nervous. He used to have the whole control of his life, but this time it was totally different.
Every day the same routine: getting up early, putting his grey suit on that his ex-wife gifted him for the anniversary, sitting on his chair in the same department at the office... All weeks were extremely similar. But not that day.
He had been thinking about that day for some weeks and valuing the consequences.

When the sun rose he had already put his suit on. He drove very calm to the place which would change his life completely.
In the end, when he was in the correct place, he closed his blue eyes, took a deep breath and, holding his gun, he started to shoot to any direction. His smile showed an incredibly happy person and when the time ran out he felt like a new man. It was the first time he played a paintball match and it changed all his life.

It was three o'clock in the morning when the phone rang. My friend Julia had sent a message: “Hurry up! If you don´t go fast, we will miss the bus” We´re going to holidays although we haven´t a lot of money, for this reasons we bought low cost tickets. The worst that is a departure time, it´s so late.
I took my suitcase quickly and I went to the bus stop. I took the bus at time! I had sat in the bus when Julia asked my where my case was. Suddenly, I remember that I had left my suitcase in the bus stop. This is a disaster! Fortunately I had an idea. I called my mom and she told me that she will send my case by post.
At the end, I can to enjoy my holidays. The weather was fantastic! I hope repeat sooner rather than later.

It was three o'clock in the morning when the phone rang. Unfortunately, I was on duty and I had to answer the phone. I was working as a technician for Telecommunication Company and I had to drive to the places where the equipments were to repair them. In those days, I lived in Asturias and the places where I had to visit was extremely hard and wild.
When the telephone ran I was scared because I hated to drive at night when the weather was cold and windy. I stood up, picked up the phone and one of my collage told me that I had to drive to a mountain pass called Pajares because one equipment there had broken down.
As soon as I knew what I had to do, I got dressed, took my tools and drove my four by four to the work place. First, I drove on the main road to get to Pajares´ pass. Then I took a wild sandy road to get to the little house where the equipment were inside. It took me more than an hour to get there.
The most funny thing was that I couldn’t have opened the door if I hadn´t had a lighter. The lock was frozen.

HUNTING CRICKETS
I still remember that summer which my mother explained me, while she had been doing some lemonade that crickets, on the warm nights like that, they usually sang a lot.
- “Mom, ¿and how they do it?”-.
- “Rubbing its little wings”- She said me while she was cutting some lemons.
- “And how they are?”- I asked interested.
- “They had six little legs, two little feelers and they are fully black”-, trying to describe them as any mother would to a barely six-year child.
- “And... Could be they caught?”-.
- “Of course you could do them!”-. She told me, -“But you must be patient because when someone get close to them, they become silent”-.
That night I decided to capture some of them to put in a little box with lettuce. After an hour I was captured... half dozen! Incredible! I almost couldn´t believe it! After all, It wasn´t as difficult as my mother had told. I wished they begin to sing!
Two days later, I was worried about not hearing any noise inside the box, I went to my mother to see if she could do anything.
- “Mom, do you know why my crickets do not sing?”-. I asked her.
- “No darling”-. She told me. -“Maybe they are sick. Could you show them?”-.
I don´t know what scared me the most if my mother´s shout when she opened the cap or the fear for thinking they would escape when she threw the box into the ground.
- “Noooo!!! My crickets are run away!”-. I yelled her. “Quickly! Let´s capture them again!”-.
- “Shut up and bring me the broom immediately!”-. She cried even louder. - “Those aren´t crickets, are cockroaches!”-.
- “Cock... Cockro... Whatttt!”-. I howled frightened while I was still trying to catch some of them.

SAME PEOPLE ARE JUST LUCKY

It was three o'clock in the morning when the phone rang. I was deeply sleeping and run quickly to catch phone. The hospital receptionist told me that my husband had had a motorbike accident when he was going home.
As a result I got dressed and I went to the hospital Juan Ramon Jimenez, as fast as I could . During the journey I felt very nervous and scared of the situation because I was thinking that my husband was seriously injured.
Then I went in the reception's hospital and a nurse lead me to the observation`s room. My husband lied in bed conscious. The doctor had had an X-ray to see is anything is broken. Fortunately he only had broken his ankle although he need an operation and he must stay in hospital for several days.
It is a real story and therefore I think when the phone rang in the middle of the night, bad something had happened.

Fifteen years ago I worked as a teacher for a franchise which taught Information Technology to everyone who wanted to learn to manage their personal computers.
One day, I was the last to leave the office and after turning the lights off and locking the door, I came back home as usual. It was three o'clock in the morning when the phone rang; a police officer introduced himself and asked for me. Suddenly, I got very nervous and I wondered if something wrong had happened to my family. He explained that a group of vandals had broken into my office and they´d taken one monitor. It was such a strange incident that I thought probably they didn´t know it wasn´t the computer by itself because there was no sense in burgling an office making a lot of noise to steal only one monitor.
The police called me because they didn´t know who was the manager and my address book had left on my desk. Finally, my boss came and he got very angry with me, I didn´t know why, perhaps he thought I hadn´t locked the door properly, but they´d broken the shop windows!

It was a clear night in summer. He was going back to home walking on his own and thinking how a great day he had spent with all his old classmates, it couldn´t have been better. As soon as he arrived home, he went to his room and there he undressed to have a show and he washed quickly. Then he put on his fresh pyjama and got into the bed.
It was three o´clock in the morning when the phone rang. He was surprised and picked up the phone: “What´s happened?” He asked and at that moment he heard a voice, which took him straight back to his childhood, and to that feeling which terrified him more than anything else.“You was a bad little boy and I couldn´t forget it”. It was incredible, it was his teacher´s voice and he couldn´t believe it. She was dead teen years ago, wasn´t she?

It was three o’clock in the morning when the phone rang the first time. She hadn’t been sleeping well lately, so she decided to take a tablet. That was probably the reason because Sara didn’t hear the ringing phone.
Ten minutes later the phone rang again. This time she answered.
- Hello
- Mrs. Smith?
- Yes, I am
- I’m sorry to inform you that your husband has had an accident and he’s in hospital.
Suddenly, the communication was cut off. At first she felt very confused, but when she got wake up she realized that it was someone who was mistaken. She and her husband had gone to bed at the same time. As he wasn’t in bed, she called him
- Tony, where are you?
- Tony please, answer me
She started to worry, rushed to the phone to see the last call but, it didn’t work. She took the mobile. It had no battery. Sara was frantic. She got dressed, took the car key and shot off toward the nearest hospital.
They told her that no one had been admitted with her husband’s name. Staff hospital advised her to go to a police station.
When she arrived at the police station was very nervous and looked scruffy. When she was trying to explain what was happening, a police officer interrupted her to ask if she had drunk or used drugs in the last 24 hours. Then she burst out crying mournfully.
Finally, they took her ser seriously, and after she calmed down went home.

The light was on and the door opened. She thought maybe she has forgotten to lock the door and, when she came into….. Surprise surprise, someone has committed a burglary from her house.
- Oh my God, this can’t be happening to me.
When she was about to cry, she heard her husband’s voice. Il was at home!

They had gone to bed together. That’s right. The husband was exhausted and as his wife snored a lot, he decided to sleep in the attic. It was the only place she didn’t look.

It was three in the morning when the phone rang. At that time I was sound asleep so I did not pay much attention, I thought I could be someone who would have confused, and went to bed. But ten minutes later again rang again then startled me and I thought it might be something serious. Although I did not know who could call those hours , I quickly got up and I took it down . Across the phone I spoke police told me not to worry but my husband had suffered a mishap . Very scared I asked him what had happened and he told me that his car had left burning but he was in perfect condition in police custody , he asked me to be a pick and the patrols were nightly inspections and could not take him home. As soon as I hung up I changed my clothes and got out of the garage to go to my husband and see what had happened. I was very nervous about not really knowing what I would find there. When I got there he was sitting very crestfallen and told me that our " Mercedes " was dead, it did not explain how he could have gone on fire , possibly the last review made two days before the incident anyone could have confused the wiring.I told him not to worry, that we would ask explanations and the official service of the house "Mercedes" and to stay calm but inside I were more nervous than him.
When we left there we went to a cafe for breakfast because it was 6 in the morning and of course we both ordered a lime to calm nerves and toast with honey.
Then we went home to rest. In the afternoon we would have a lot of work fixing "paperwork".

The unknown call

It was three o´clock in the morning when the phone rang and I got out of the bed quickly, ran out downstairs and picked up the phone. “Hello?” I said, but surprisingly there was no one on the phone. I hung up and turned back to bed. I was so frightened that I couldn´t sleep the rest of the night.
Next day same story happened, but instead of rush to pick up the phone like the day before I planned an idea…
A few hours later, in the morning, I dialed the recall button in order to find out who was kidding me, and two tones later there he was, “Hello?” I recognized his voice immediately, he was my always amusing friend Mike. “Mike you know I enjoy your jokes a lot but this time you have crossed the line”, I said at the time I hung up without let him to apologize. Finally, I decided forgive him but with a requirement: No more jokes at three o´clock in the morning.

Sometimes, I still remember that night.
At the begining, I was deeply sleeping when my phone started to ring. I awoken bit by bit, confused. The phone seemed to ring far far away. I stood up in the dark and I walked sleepy toward the phone. When I took it, nobody talked to me. I only heard a strange sound, like a whispering. I was thinking that it was a joke but then a voice spoke:
-Did you open the Door?
Immediately, I looked at my entrance door, but it was locked.
-Wh-what? Who are you?
The voice at the other side sounded more and more nervous.
-I think that they have escaped. God, forgive us…
I didn’t know why, but in this moment I felt myself scared.
-It’s very late.- I said- Are you kidding me?
-No! Please! Call to the doctor… No, better call to profesor Armitage. He will know what to do about that.
I was frozen. I didn’t know what was happening, but there was something ominous in his words.
-Sorry, sir. I’m thinking that you have called at a wrong number.
The voice kept silence for a while. A few seconds after, I heard a hit and a distant scream. The voice seemed to start to cry.
-Damn… There is no time. All is over…
In this moment, the phone line was cut off. I was waiting a little more time close to the phone, but no more happened. I couldn’t sleep for the rest of that night.

“SOME LEAVE, OTHERS RETURN”

It was three o’clock when the telephone rang. Quickly, I got up and got dressed; it was the call which I’d been waiting for so long.

Firstly, I packed my father´s clothes and next, I called my sisters; both had to know the piece of news. After that, I got in my car and drove off. When I arrived at the second light, it was on red and surprisingly, there was a woman who was lying on the floor and asking for help. The woman was a poor beggar who was very cold and could hardly move. At that moment, I got off the car as fast as I could, I got her in my car and we went to the Hospital.

We didn´t take much time to arrive at Hospital, but when we went in the Emergency Area, she was already breathing badly and a few minutes later, she passed away.

Fortunately, my sadness turned into happiness when I could see my father awake; he had been in a coma for a month after having a heart attack.

It was three o’clock in the morning when the phone rang. I woke up scared because I was deeply slept and the phone seems sound higher when you’re sleeping. So I got up of my bed quickly and I went to pick up phone. While I was going towards the phone I thought that bad something had happened and I was afraid to hear terrible news.
Fortunately, bad nothing had happened. Simply it was an old woman who I didn’t meet, but she was crying because she was alone at home and she just needed to speak someone. Although it was a surprise for me I could breathe relaxed, I tried to help her and we were talking long time. She said to me that she felt very sad, she didn’t like loneliness nevertheless she was alone due to that she was widow and her daughter had gone out that night. For this reason she had phone me in despite off she didn’t Know anything about me.
Finally, I could calm her and she stopped crying. Some days later I called the woman and she was extremely grateful because I had wanted to hear her when she needed it.

It was three o'clock in the morning when the phone rang. In my dream, the sun was shining through the branch of the baobab and my eyes smarted with my sweat. I woke up, and took the phone but no body answered. I felt reassured in my bed and went remembering the end of my last travel with my workmates .
A few days ago, we had hungry because we have been walking across the savannah for three days, neither provisions no water were carried in our backpack. We drank the turbid water that we found and we had a terrible taste in our tongue because off the bleach that we putted on.
Amazingly, we found a little market where some people sold seeds and worms. All the natives there were eating dry caterpillar. I tried to eat it, but the worm suddenly revived and climbed on my face searching the salt of my eyes. Fortunately, the phone rang again.

"PANIC IN THE FOREST"

It was three o'clock in the morning when the phone rang. I felt so happy that I started to cry. I was starving, thirsty and desperate. Although I had been trying to phone a lot of times, I continued without no coverage on my mobile phone. I was lost in this forest, in the darkness.

The story began when I met my friends last week. Then, one of them had a "brilliant" idea: he suggested spending a weekend in a cottage. We liked the idea and we rented a house. We just had to cross a way through the forest to arrive at the house.
While I was on my way to the cottage, a deer suddenly appeared and hit the car. Unfortunately, my car was totally destroyed in a zone without mobile coverage. I stayed inside the car for hours until I heard a human voice near my location. Then, I left the car and I tried to find that person, but I finally got lost in the forest. It was a horrible experience.

I remember some years ago when I used to work in Granollers railway station, where I was in charge of train traffic. There were also five colleagues more who were in the same station, but all of us worked in solo shifts.

Once our boss wanted to visit us from Barcelona, I was phoned by my workmate who was on duty, It was three o'clock in the morning when the phone rang and he asked me to go to the station to help him, because he felt very stressed when he saw our boss as he was so serious that my workmate had great difficulties talking with him. I didn't long for to arrive soon at the station so when I reached there my boss had already got to.

Eventually, I began giving an explanation to my boss about our work and how we had organized all the documentation, so he felt absolutely astonished of seeing what a good job we had done.

My boss's secretary called me to a interview three day later, due to the fact that my boss wanted to recommend me for a new post. Finally, I was promoted.

The Forgetful Musician

I’d set off from Nebraska carrying only a violin in my hands. But, eventually, I was about to reach the goal: New York. It had been worth spending all those freezing mornings swapping some melodies for a handful of coins.
That night, I was playing at a pub in New Jersey when someone came up to me.
- “Bob Dylan?!” I said, trying not to fall off the stool.
Almost babbling as a baby, I told him how people surrounded me whenever I played “Blowing in the wind”. He looked half amused, half puzzled.
- “I wonder how a violinist would fit in with my band”, he said thoughtfully.
“So do I” I thought eagerly. Unfortunately, he’d vanished among the crowd by the time I could react.
-“Bye Bob”, I shouted in a hopeless way. Someone warned me.
-“Stupid, you’ve been talking to The Boss”.
I, the most foolish musician worldwide, hadn’t recognized him.
However, it was three o’clock in the morning when the phone rang. I had to be in NY the next day for an audition. I still call him Bob every night on the stage.

I woke up twice before the phone rang. That night, before I went to the bed I was feeling quite worried because I argued with him. At the end, I got to sleep; it was three o'clock in the morning when the phone rang.
That day in the afternoon we went to take a coffee when I said him that “this night I’m going out with my friends” he looked at me very annoyed and he added on “I don’t want that you go out with your friends”, then he stood up and he left me alone in the pub.
I was so sad that I decided not to go with my friends; I said them that I had a headache and they understood and didn’t argue although they knew that I had argued with him. I was deeply asleep when the phone rang, I didn’t want to pick it up but at the end I did it. He was really surprised because I was at home, he apologized for his behaviour but in that moment I decided to break up with him.

An unreal story

It was three o´clock in the morning when the phone rang in Mr. Svenson´s house. When Mr. Svenson was going to pick up the phone, it stopped to ring. It had happened four times for last month. Mr. Svenson was angry and he didn´t know who could be the rough.

Mr. Svenson was one of the most famous lawyer in the city and he was a well recognized person because he was hard-working serious man. Fortunately he thought he didn´t have any enemys.

One night the phone rang again and when Mr. Svenson picked up it, a voice spoke on the phone: “Are you Mr. Svenson?”, “Yes”-answered Mr. Svenson-“But who are you? Why are you calling me so late?”. “I´m Beni´s brother”- replied the voice-do you remember him?. You were the guilty person that my brother was in prision for 15 years.
Mr. Svenson was frightened and began to close all windows and doors. But the voice said to him: “Don´t hurry, I´m already inside your house”.
In that moment Mr. Svenson heard a strong noise downstairs. He caught a stick and went down slowly. He saw a shadow in the living room and when he was going to get into the room......Riiinggg! “Oh, my God! Everything had been a dream!”

WHAT A STRESSING NIGHT!!

It was three o´clock in the morning when suddenly the phone rang and stopped. I woke up so fast that I nearly had a heart attack. I thought that the loud noise hadn´t really happened so I carried on sleeping quietly, but only a few minutes later the noise started to sound once and again. “It isn´t the phone, it´s the alarm clock”, I said myself. I had completely forgotten my trip. I had to move quickly or I was going to arrive late to the airport.
Immediately, I picked up my suitcase and I left home on time. However, when I tried to start my car, the battery didn´t work. I kept calm in spite of the problem, and I called a taxi which arrived at my house twenty minutes afterwards. Even though we still had enough time, I asked for the taxi driver to take for the shorter road.
As soon as I arrived at the airport, I ran towards the boarding gate because luckily I had printed the boarding pass in advance. In the end, I could take my flight just in time.

It was three o´clock in the morning, when the telephone rang. I woke up promptly and half-asleep I was looking for my mobile.
"Yes" I said. "I´m Laura. I´m at the airport of Sevilla.Would you mind pick me up, please?!" she asked. "What? Are you joking, right?? I asked aggravating. In the first moment, I thought that I was dreaming... "No, it´s true, please!!!"she begged."Ok" I answered.
Ten minutes after, I was driving to Sevilla, while I was deep in my thoughts... I realized that my best fiend, who I´ve known since my childhood, haven´t change. She was a pretty cheerful girl who unfortunately was extremely spoiled. I haven´t seen her for two years, since she met a French boy, who she falled in love with, left everything and escaped with him to France.
As soon that I saw her, I knew that something was wrong. I hugged her with all my might and I said "Everything it´s gonna be all right". "I´d like to explain you..."Linda said. "If,I were you, I ´d forget everthing and tomorrow´ll be another day..

Once on the laptop, I started to send the fifty messages as we had been taught. I hoped all these people received the message of salvation before they were captured, but time was running out and they had few minutes to get to the meeting point.
It was already four past three and I only had to wait the second sign, so I was looking out the window when finally a pickup truck came, it braked twice and accelerated...accomplished mission.

I thought: What’s that noise?
I understood that my neighbouring had a party.
I began to feel angry, suddenly It’s was three o’clock in the morning when the phone rang, I picked the phone quickly.
- Hello? I said worried.
-How’s it going? A man said. I’m your neighbouring.
-What happen?
- Nothing, I need some ice.
I couldn’t believe it, however, I answered” yes, of course, I have some ice”.
A few minutes later, somebody was ranging my doorbell, I opened the door, it was my neighbour, and he smiled at me.
- Are you crazy? I shouted him; it’s three in the morning and I had been sleeping!
-I’m very sorry but I need some ice.
I decided to be calm, after that I got some ice out of the freezer and I gave him.
Finally, he invited me to his party; amazingly I said “ok”, I thought “well, I’m awake so I going to his party and I’ll enjoy myself”.

Suddenly, I thought that my sister in law, who was expecting a baby girl, was in labour. Then, I called my brother although fortunately his mobile phone was off and I left a message on his voice mail “please, call me back as soon as you listen to this message, because I was very worried about you”.

Eventually, I woke up five minutes later nervously and I realized that everything had been a dream.

It was three o´clock in the morning when the phone rang, I was deeply slept. I was dreaming a dream with a goo-looking man. We had been traveling around Mayan Riviera; he was explaining me about this culture, the horrible sacrifices and unhuman rituals with people of their tribes. Suddenly we were prisoners and the tribes’ leader wanted to decapitate us and extracting our hearts. We were in a horrible situation; this’s a nightmare I was thinking. We were very frightened, but when the sorcerer went to cut my head, the phone woke up me. I could verify that all was a nightmare.
I got up of my bed, I was quickly at living room, and then I answered the call. Who’s? I asked, the first time anybody answered me, but then a woman spook me. She started to telling me that She was my husband’s lover .She was crying, and She told me that, She wanted my husband for her because he was their man’ life. She supplicated and implored me that I’ll give up him, because I’ve been having all, a big house, a lot of money etc. but she had only him. I was like enchanted because of the last nightmare and now this call. As soon as I could answer, I said her “I’m a single woman”.

It was three o’clock in the morning when the phone rang. It had been ringing at the same time each day for four months and the same always happened. I would get up and wake up my younger sister, who used to sleep next to me. Through the crack of the door we used to see how our dad picked up the phone and pronounced nervously words we did not understand. And despite my dad was a strong man, he used to weep quietly. Then, he would go downstairs and sit in the darkness. It was always the same.

My sister and I sometimes tiptoed downstairs and got closer to ask him if he had had a nightmare. He used to answer us faintly not to wait up for him. But, occasionally, I thought he was not even aware of us. I used to tell my sister that dad was fond of sitting alone in the darkness to remember his childhood without power. But, actually, I meant to soothe her. We were afraid.

One night, everything changed. After the phone rang, we saw our dad sat in his favourite armchair, in his pajamas, with an empty pill bottle on his cold hand and his unblinking eyes staring straight ahead. He had an unconcerned smile and looked peaceful.

Twenty-five years later, I have the same unconcerned smile as my father while sign a new law against familiar harassment by bullying banks to stop threatening calls. Time taught me the meaning of eviction, but life showed me the strength of the people.

A great fright!
It was three o'clock in the morning when the phone rang.It was a cold, dark and rainy winter night.
Everyone in my home was sleeping except me as I was watching TV with my dog.Suddenly, the dog began to bark loudly and he woke up my family. They went downstairs quickly and into the living-room where I was.
The phone rang so many times that I was worried. My mother answered the phone. Five minutes later, she did tell us:" it was the neighbour"." Really? "I did answer. She has seen a thief in the garden who has been trying to break the window for several seconds.
"Do hurry up! We must phone the police", I said. "The sooner we phone the police, the sooner they will catch the thief",I shouted.
"Don't worry",my mother said."I will call the police but meanwhile we will turn on all the lights in the house and we will sit on the couch.
A couple of minutes later,I saw a shadow on the wall.As soon as I saw it,I ran into the garden while my family were staying on the couch. It was the thief. He seemed younger than me,but actually he was two or three years old,I thought.
It took the police so long to arrive that we tied up the thief.
Luckily, the bell rang. It was the police. When they saw the thief they recognized him. According to them, he was a very notorious thief.

A SHORT STORY

It was three o'clock in the morning, when the phone rang. It was a friend of mine. We had to catch the plane to Prague at five o'clock in the morning and I was sleeping deeply, so, I got up immediatly and at a run I arrived to the airport on time.
Luckily, I could catch the plane and when we were there, we visited all famous, historical monuments and places, although the better form to see the city was walking around the ancient streets lined and crossing old bridges, it seemed like we were in a tale.
The travel was wonderful, even though one day, when we were going down the escalator to catch the subway, we saw the supervisors on the platform and suddenly, they stopped us asking for our fares and passports and as you could imagine, we didn't have them, so we were given a fine. In spite of that, this was only an anecdote and it was a fantastic, funny travel.

I usually go to bed very late but if the phone rings at midnight or later I get nervous. Two years ago, it was three o’clock in the morning when the phone rang. I had just gone to bed and I got up quickly. When I picked the phone up, my sister said that she was pleases with her new job at he Harvard University. I answered very angry about the time she was phoning. Suddenly, she realized there was a six hours’ difference between Huelva and Boston and she hung up without saying goodbye. I went back to bed and tried to sleep.

When I was asleep, the phone rang again. I picked he phone up and I was surprised when my mother asked what my sister wanted when she had phoned me. I got angry and hung up. I come back to bed. However, I couldn’t sleep because I spent all the night on wondering how my mother had known my sister phoned me.

The following morning I phoned my mother and she told me my sister has first phoned her by mistake.

It had been a long and rainy day. I had worked all day and I was extremely tired and starving.I decided to have a quick dinner and go to bed.

I was deeply asleep,it was three o'clock in the morning when the phone rung.
It was a worried voiced, she was my sister who lived in Seville, she was about to have a baby and she was complety alone.I was trying to relax her when, suddenly,my mother turned up in my bedroom. We pack necessaries and two hours later we were in the wrong hospital looking for her.She had been told to switch off her mobile before getting into the A&E, so our worries were increasing due to the fact that we couldn't contact her.

At the end of a long night my phone came into the world but not my niece because it was a false alarm.

Cold fish.

It was three o´clock in the morning when the phone rang.Mary was in a great party in order to meet one of her favourite singers who is Bono, she was a fan of U2.
Meanwhile her phone rang again and again. However she didn´t to lose the opportunity to meet him.
Mary worked as a chief surgeon in a hospital, and she knew that if the phone would ring she had to go quickly to the hospital.
suddenly mary had a brilliant idea, while all party guests were anxiously waiting the spectacular appearance of Bono on a large platform, she was loosening some screws.
As a result Bono had a minor accident, he had a sprained ankle, and then Mary inmediately took him to hospital.
Fortunately nobody knew of his little prank.

It was three o`clock in the morning when the phone rang, It was my daughter who called me, I hadn`t heard nothing because I have been had a deep dream. Nevertheless my daughter called me more than three times aloud and at least I heard her. I stepped down and answered the call. I couldn´t believe what I was listening, it was wonderful. My sister phoned me to say that we have won a lottery ticket.

IT WAS THREE O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING WHEN THE PHONE RANG.

I had got home an hour before and I was sleeping deeply when I picked up the phone and Nieves started to tell such an amazing story that I could hardly believe it.

My sister was extremely nervous so I couldn’t understand what she was saying. But when she calmed down I noticed me what was really happening. While she and a friend were talking inside her car, a police car approached them. Suddenly the two policemen began to make embarrassing questions theoretically because they were speaking loud and the car was badly parked.

Nieves didn’t know exactly how to explain the change in the conversation. But they were told to follow the police car to the house of one of the men and the girls obeyed immediately. In the middle of the car chase she realized how strange the situation was and decided to phone to ask me what she should really do. “Run away as far as you can!” – I told her .

HOW HAS CHANGE OUR LIVE IN THE LAST THIRTY YEARS?

About marriage and relationship, I would say that has changed in a big way.
First, marriages are in the short- term at this time, due to women have the same role than men in the society.
What have these changes occurred? We live in a more materialistic society than thirty years ago. It´s common for both, the man and the woman, to work outside the house to earn more money in order to keep a high level of life. As a result, they spend less time together and the relationship is more weak.
In the other hand, the woman thirty years ago, was more dependant of the man; she used to spend long time at home only caring the children and doing the homework. At the present time, wifes work even more hours than husbands outside and there is the feeling that there isn´t time to support a dominant situation in the marriage and therefore they are more independent with their partner.
In relationships have occurred big changes too.The infidelity, the break-up relation, the devasted messages on Internet, the sexual problems, the economical problems.. they are some of common problems in a present relationship.
Nowadays, i think the Internet is being able to stay in touch with people who are far away, but it´s debatable wheter or not a woman has fallen in love with someone or only feel sexual attraction, not love. So it´s very usual that she, after a short time, goes off this person.
However, thirty years ago, the relationship was in a long-term and men and women were getting married for ever.
According to this, has the marriage changed at this time?. Do these changes mean that relationship is totally different?.
In my opinion, when one fall for someone, the feeling is the same now and before, and in both time we wish to get a sucessful love, definitely to get the hapiness.
