Thanks for your e-mail. It was lovely to hear from you and I´m glad you are well.

Sorry, I haven´t written for so long, but I´ve been really busy. I´ve been preparing my final exam, which I´ve passed luckily. Furthermore , my aunt, which I´ve attached entirely, had had a stroke and unfortunately her right side is paralyzed. She´s been in a hospital for two weeks and now I´ve been living with her. As a result, she needs quickly some rehabilitation.

I´d appreciate your help on this a lot. I know that you´re a very good physiotherapist. Let me know , if you´d like to look after her, because I realize that at this moment you have much work and many engagements in your new consulting room. Just give me a call, if you have any question.

I´m looking forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes to Patric,
Bye.

Hi Chris,
Sorry not for writing earlier but I don’t have much time because I’ve finally found a job! (as a waitress as usual). So you don’t have to worry about delaying, it was great to hear from you anyway. I’ve been working a lot so you know I’m alive and healthy but not doing interesting things!

I hope you’re completely right and able to attend your classes at university. What about them? Glad to hear that your family are well, so are mine. Congratulate your brother for the job. Nowadays founding one isn’t easy at all. It’s very lucky we both have found work this year!

I have some good news for you too - those days of the conference you’re going to, I´m on holiday!!! I have stuff to do though I´m sure I’ll be able to show you around. And about the hotel, if you want to stay in one, you can do it, there’re various around here. But if you stayed here at home, you’d save some money to spend on other things.

Well, that’s all for now.

Best wishes,

Eva.

Ups! Separation between the words "Hi Chris" and the fist paragraph has been missing (should I say missed?).

Hi Chris,
I am fine and my family too.

I hope that you haven’t flu and that your temperature is normal.

I am studying Social Worker and I am very exciting because the classes are very interesting.

Last week I had an exam and I passed it. My teacher gave me the congratulations.

Moreover, twice at the afternoon I am going to the gym with my classmates. We are very good friends!

You have had lucky because in Huelva the University started at first of September and you University will be started next week, it is to say, at last of October.

But sincerely, I prefer to start before and to finish before too, so the holidays summer are longer.

Oh! It is a fantastic news that you will come to a conference in my town!
If you want, you can stay in my house. There is a train station a stone’s throw away, which in 10 minutes you will be in the city centre.

Your free half –day we can visit the Cathedral and the Huelva’s Port.

Then, we’ll have a beer in my favorite pub, it is called, Mandala.

I am looking forward to seeing from you in May. Please give my regards to your family.

Take care!

Hi Chris,

I´m so glad you´re already healthy. My family were also sick two weeks ago because they had diarrhoea, fever and stomach ache. Even we had to go to the hospital because my younger daughter, Emily, produced convulsions. While we were waiting in the hospital Emily felt dizzy and the doctors came quickly and they had to administer her intravenous medication. We were afraid but, at least, Emily got well. However, we had to stay that night in the hospital.

About your brother, I´m sure he´ll learn a lot of technological things in that company. My friend, Albert, has worked there since 1990 and he said to me that it´s the best record company in the country.

On the other hand, I´ve been seeing different hotels situated near you´re going to work. I´ve found some cheap comfortable hotels but I would choose “Prince Hotel”, it´s my favourite hotel. If you have a free morning we´ll go to the centre and we´ll visit St. Jorge´s castle. I think you´ll like it because it´s the most famous sightseeing in the city.

I´m sure we´ll have a good time together.

I hope to see you soon.

Take care.

Eva.

Hi Chris:

Thanks for you email. It’s been a long time since I last heart from you, so I was worried enough about you.

At home all of us are well, although I have split up with my boy friend since two days later I last saw you, and my brother Peter has got a cold but without importance because he is getting over.

By the way, according to your email you are visiting my town because of a conference which is going to take place next May, from 16th to 20th, so I’d like you to stay at my home with us and in this way we may have a good time together. There are a lot of things that I’d like to tell you. Besides If you don’t go to a hotel, you’ll save up some money, and I know you can’t afford spend so much money.

I’m looking forward to seeing you soon

Hello Chris,

I´m glad to hear from you, I´ve to say that I didn´t expect your email at all. Is good to know that you and your family are in the pink of health – but you and your flu.

Here the things are better than ever; first of all I want to tell you that I´m dating with a girl who I met four months ago in a party. Moreover my brother has finally found a job so I think that he should be as happy as your brother Ian.

In relation to your conference, of course I can help you to look for a hotel, however I´ve a greater idea… because of his new job, my brother has rented a flat closer to the workplace so there´s an empty room in my house and you can stay here with me, what do you think about? Thus I´ll be able to show you the city and we´ll cath up on our lives.

Drop me a line telling me about your answer and send kisses to your family.

Regards,

Zoilo

Hey Chris!

Sorry to hear you were so ill! I didn’t have no idea about it! Glad you are better now.
News about your brother are fantastic! I always thought he is very talented!

About my life everything is normal, nothing new but it’s good because I keep my job at the University of Huelva, teaching Spanish Language and my students are awesome!

I am very excited to hear that you are going to visit my town soon! I miss you a lot friend!
As to the hotel, you know that there are some fantastic hotels near the centre. Anyway, I can’t stand you leaving in any of them, because you are welcome to leave at home with my family. They love you and they are expecting to know about you. So that, the decision is taken and you will spend your days in the town with us, ok?

Well friend, I need to prepare my classes for tomorrow. Please give regards to your parents and your brother.

I hope to see you soon!

Hi Chris,

Sorry for not writing earlier but I’ve just checked my emails. As you know, my father has breathing problems and last week we had to take him to hospital because he couldn’t breathe well, had a lot of phlegm and his temperature was 38° C. He hasn’t had a high temperature since Thursday and he breathes better, but according to the Doctors, the infection persists and he’ll need more antibiotics so I don’t know when he’ll leave the hospital.

Unfortunately I’ve already finished working at Emergency but I’m still working in an old people’s home so I think I’m a lucky person because at least I have a job. My sisters are quite busy looking after their baby daughters but they’re very happy.

As regards accommodation, I’ve been thinking that a friend works in a youth hostel near to center of town. Hostels are often cheaper than hotels so I could ask him if there was a free room for that date. Next week I tell you.

Best wishes,

Eva

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your email. Glad to hear that you´re better. I´m sure that you´ll be all well soon, won´t you?

I´m fine and my family too, although last Saturday my mother had a very deep cut in her right hand when she was cutting the roast chicken. We were scared because her finger didn´t stop to bleed and we went to Accident and Emergency. Finally, she had ten stitches in her thumb finger but don´t worry about her, she´s feeling quite well. Please, congratulate your brother on his new job, don´t forget it, do you?

It so happens that in May, from 16 th to 20 th I´m going on holiday, so I´ll be very pleased to show you my favourite corners of my town. And, I´ll invite you to stay in my flat, but you know it´s too small but, Why don´t you stay at my parent´s home? They´ve known you since you were a child and they think that you are very loyal and cheerful. Think it over and tell me anything soon!

Well, that´s all for now. Please give my regards to your brother.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Chris!

If I tell you the true, I was starting to be a bit worry of you. I have been sending a lot of emails and really I thought something bad was happened. I hope you be better because I got flu too four months ago and the pain in all parts of the body is completely unbearable!

I started my classes at university the past week and I have already got a lot of homework (you know what that is!), so I haven´t anything interesting to tell. I´m really glad for the news about your brother! In these days is very difficult to find a job… And more complicated that it likes you!

Respecting your conference in May, here in Badajoz, don´t worry about it. There are a sort of cheap hotels and all of them are not so far from the centre of the town, but I have one better idea haunting in my head… Why don´t you pass those days at home? It will be funny, and you won´t worry about anything. I´ll be the perfect host to show my city!
Promise me you´ll think about it.

See you soon!

Hi Chis,

How’s it going? I’ve been wondering why you haven’t replied my emails. As you know, I miss you.

I’m glad that you are getting over. You’ll be fed up with flu! My mother got it last month too, and her GP recommended her to rest and some tables to cut down with the temperature. She ended up absolutely devastated.

By the way, how lucky your brother is! If I were him, I’d be really excited. It’s been a long while since I last saw him therefore, please, send him my regards. Here everybody is fine. Well, gossiping about Julia, she visited a psychic that told her she was going to get a new boyfriend. And, in fact, she’s just met a guy! Amazing, isn’t it? Now, she is praying for the job…

Talking about your next visit, your lack of confidence annoys me. Stay in my house, please! I’d be glad and so would my husband. Not only I’ll show you around but also we’ll do whatever you wish. Will you stay, won’t you?

Please, write soon and tell me

Kisses, Eva

Hi Chris.

Thanks for your email. I'm glad to have news from you, even you feel better these days.
Here we're very busy...my granny fell down last week and she broke her hip and now my parents and I are looking after her.

Regarding your brother, all of us are very happy about his new job. Despite that my brother Clodoaldo has been fired from his job at the bank. We hope he find another job as soon as possible.

Are you going to come to Fresnedilla del Campo? Really? Don't worry about the issue of stay...my girlfriend Dorotea has been working in a small lovely motel for ten years and they may offer you a cheap room.

Summing up, if you wanted to go out and have fun, I could rent a car and could go to the beach when you're here...hahaha! but don't forget your swimsuit neither the suncream.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Best wishes,

Juan

Hi Marta .
I was very glad to your email. Sorry for not having responded sooner but I've been busy . I spent a week in Madrid attending a congress of young linguists . There I was able to reconnect with old college friends . Do you remember Michael? Yes , that guy so nice that studied with us in 3rd career . Well now is a distinguished professor at Oxford. He told me that after finishing here in Spain he went to England to do the master. He was so good he made a partnership agreement at the University , there are PhD and settled . He met an English girl , also a teacher and married , now have two children. He gave me many memories for you .
And how are you ? Is everything okay ? I hope you've recovered from your back pain. If not , I know a therapist who gives a great massage , but it is best to let advised by the doctor, he will always have better judgment than me.
Well , Martha, keep in touch . I 'll tell you in next post .
I hope to hear from you soon .

Hi Chris,

I´m really thrilled to hear you news. As you Know, I´ve been having health problems for a long time so I decided to go to a private doctor. After practicing me a full medical exam, they realized I have a strange disease which is called Sjögren. As a result of this, I need to be transfused once every three weeks, so I must look after myself a lot. But what about you? Do you feel better now, don´t you?

I found a new job, like Ian!!. I´ve been working for a lawyer along the last two months. It´s an amazing job, however my new boss is a bit bad-tempered and arrogant. I’m not completely happy there.

I wish you stayed at home. I would feel a bit annoyed if you decided not to do it. At least we would have more time to have a good gossip. Furthermore, we could go out with some new Italian friends who are fantastic. I think you´ll enjoy and I promise you´ll be able to assist to your conference on time.

Please, send my regards to Ian.
See you soon.

Hi Chris!
Thanks for your e-mail. It was great to hear from you and hope you get better soon. It makes me glad that your brother takes pleasure in his new job. How are your parents?

My family is well, but I´m stressed because of my new job as an online teacher. I have to help my pupils to learn without face-to-face interaction and live discussion. In addition to this, I have to spend a lot of time correcting homework. However, I prefer teaching in a traditional classroom.

You lucky thing, you can stay by me if you want. I have moved for a month and in my house there´re many rooms. But the bad news is I wouldn´t be able to show you some of the sights because in May I´m going to be abroad for job. Would you mind if my husband shows you around? You´ll learn more about my city because he´s better tourist guide than I.

Well, that´s is all my news. Please give my love to your brother.

Hello Chris!
It was great to hear from you, in fact, I´ve been wondering about you recently and I was going to phone you because your silence worried me. I´m happy to talk to you again and your flu are gone away.

We are good. My asthma is under control since I´ve seen the specialist due to the fact that I was getting worse. He prescribed me some new medicines and fortunately they worked, and I feel much better now. On the other hand I´ve started the master´s I told you when we last talked and it´s very interesting so far.

Ian must be very pleased with his new job, he´s always wanted it and nowadays, it´s difficult work as you´ve always wished. Good luck for him.

I´m delighted to see you when you come here. There are some good hotels in the centre of town whose links I attached in this email with photos and prices so you can choose what you prefer. I´d love to show you around.

Hi Chris,

I should have written to you earlier, but I’ve been on sick leave for the last few weeks. You know, my head again. I don’t know how I can shake off my headaches. Doctors say they make worse due to the heat, but I’m not planning on moving. Sorry you’re still under the weather, although I’m sure you’ll get better in the next few days.

Your brother must be over the moon about his new job ‘cause he told me it had been his dream since he was a child. Please, say to him I’m very pleased.

On the other hand, I’m quite excited about your visit, I’ve been thinking of you since I last saw you. In the restaurant you said such beautiful words to me I even found it easy to touch the ceiling without jumping. I know I’m a hopeless romantic, nevertheless I’d like our relationship to prosper.

About the hotel, you’re more than welcome at my house, however it takes one hour to get to the centre by car, so I could recommend you the hotel “Good Omen” which is a pretty cozy place (and I hope it does honour to its name). Anyway, we’re bound to have a good time!

Hi Chris,

It was great to hear from you. Sorry for not writing earlier but I’ve been really busy. My son got married last week, and I’ve been helping with wedding preparations; you know the guest list, the flowers to decorate the church, send invitations etc. The hardest part was to distribute the guests at the tables for the banquet. Luckily everything worked out perfect.

I hope you’re okay from de flu. I’m fine, and very happy with my daughter – in – law. She has a heart of gold and though she’s a bit reserved on the other hand is sincere, considerate, hard-working, reliable, cheerful, well-balanced and also she’s very easy-going.

I’m glad that your brother has found work. I also have good news – I’m moving next month. I’ve rented a smaller flat in the centre of town and …. Guess what’s right in front of my block of flats? The Conference Center!!! So you don’t need to look for any hotel, you can stay at home. It’s still lacking for May, so I hope to have it ready by then.

Well, that’s all for now. Please give my regards to your family.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello Chris,
Don’t worry if you couldn’t write to me before, I didn't have time to answer you either, because I was very busy because of my job, although I was surprised because you never take so long to reply.
I’m sorry that you have been ill; I think that it’s because of the weather, my couple had flu two weeks ago too and he feels bad yet. I hope you feel better and you can start you classes at university next week. I didn’t know you start to study at university this year. It’s a good new!
I’m glad your brother has a new job; I hope he has a very good time there and it takes a lot of time.
Talking about my family they’re very well. My father retired last year and he is very pleased because, finally, he has free time. My mother and he travel in their free time. They’ve been in Budapest recently. On the other hand, my sister-in-law’s pregnant other time and she’ll come back to be mother in March. We’re very happy.
Really you told me a nice new when you told me that you’re going to come to my town; I’ve a lot of wishes to see you and to spend some days with you. So I‘d like that you stay in my house when you come here if you don’t mind. You know I’m going to live alone for some months because my couple’s working in Belgium. I live very near to the center city and you won’t have to waste any money. So we may take the most advantage of our free time to be together, we may go to the theatre to see “The Lion King” and I may show my city. What do you think?
I hope you accept my invitation but if you don’t want to stay here I can look for a cheap hotel.
I’m waiting for your answer.
My family sends you many kisses. Give my regards to your family too.
Take care

It´s fantastic that you come to Huelva! There are some hotels in the town centre, I have never been in any but I think that the Tartessos hotel could be a good option because if you stay in this hotel you can go walking to any place in the centre. Definitely we will meet and I will show you the city, we can see lots of places here, I can show you the wonderful beaches or if you prefer we can visit the Colon monument, the Tinto Bridge... What do you think?

Well, see you soon.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your email. It was great to hear from you. I'm glad to hear that you're all well and feel better.

About me, I got a flu a few days ago, so you did, but I don't feel bad at all. Apart from that, everything is running smoothly. Fortunately, this school year I have to work more than the last before. I'm working with disabilitied children. I think I told you, didn't I? I must prepare special musical material for them at home every week. However, that's not a problem because I'm used to doing something like that at home. Moreover, I love it. There is something exciting new in my life. I signed up for swim team three weeks ago. So I've been training un hour and a half everyday for the last three weeks. I'm getting fit!! By the way, my family are as well as ever. I'll give your regards to them.

In relation to the conference that will take place in Huelva next May, I'd recommend to you to stay in a hotel located in the city centre. It name is Monte Conquero. Anyway, I think I'll have some free time for being able to show you around. There are some interesting places to visit.

Well, that's all for now. Please give my regards to your family.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Best wishes,
Eva.

PS.: Don't forget to let me know when exactly You'll have free time for going away together.

Hi Chris,

It was great to hear from you! I also have to apologize for not getting in contact with you before now. I really hope you are doing well and that your flu is over. I'm doing well and the family is fine too. I have been abroad the last two weeks because of a business meeting in Quebec. If everything goes right I will have great news to tell you about in some weeks (crossing fingers). How is your brother Ian doing? I hope he's happy with his new job.

When I read that you were coming to my town I jumped for joy. That's great! If you agree you can stay with us at home. If you can't make it, you can make a reservation in the Accor Hotel that is in the center of town. It has a pretty nice quality for a low price.

Regarding your free time, we can go to the museum, to a nice park with wild animals in the neighbor town and whatever you want to go I will be pleased to join you.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Lots of hugs,

Eva

DEAR CRIS

Thank for your last email, it’s always really good to hear yours news. So, how it’s going? I wish you are feeling better.
Moreover, I glad you will carry your degree on. It’s your last year, isn’t it?

Thank for asking about my family and I, nothing’s changed since you phoned me last year, except my grandparent, he had been feeling badly, because he had a stoke.
I’m glad to hear about your brother, give him my best wishes in his new job.

What else?, I also wanted to tell you that, If you don’t want to go to a hotel, you could stay at my home. Do you remember Mary, the girl who studied with me at university, she’s my flatmate and we get on very well, we’re living in a nice block of flat in a suburb, and we have got a spare room, nevertheless if you want to be in the centre of town, I’ll be able to find a cheap comfortable hotel.

Apart from that, I might not go to work this day, we could visit an interesting museum, I used to go there several years ago.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Regards,

Eva

Hello Chris,

I´m glad to hear from you, I´ve had a really busy two weeks too, so don´t worry about our disconnected period of time. In fact, I´ve moved to a new house. Try to guess it, several days packing things and carrying boxes and furniture.

I´m sorry about your illness although I´m very happy you didn´t loose classes at university that would have been terrible. Are you recovered? I hope so.

Thanks for asking about my family, they are really fine. My parents are relaxed as usual and my siblings have been helping me to move.

It was great to hear you´ll visit my town, I´ve been looking for a cheap, clean and good located hotel, and I have found a homelike hostel which is near from my house, also it could be perfect because you can reach university on foot.
I´d love to guide you around the town in your free time. I wonder if you could extend your stay to spend an extra day.

Hope to hear from you soon. Kisses to your family.
Best wishes.
Eva

Hi Chris,

I’m glad to hear from you at least, but sorry to hear about your illness. I know how you feel, I also got flu a month ago. Flu is horrible, isn’t it? Anyway, I’m sure you get better soon.

Now, here everyone is fine, but I’m very busy among my studies at university, job, family… Well, you know. I’m glad to hear about your brother’s new job because I know he’s been looking for a good job for a long time so I suppose he’s absolutely happy, isn’t it?

About your news, it’s great! I’m looking forward to see you, It’s a long time since last time, and of course I’ll be able to show you around. This is an amazing town and I’m sure we’ll have a good time. But you know you can stay at home all time you want, my flat is well situated. It isn’t necessary you book in a hotel. Think about that, ok?

Give my regards to your family,
See you
Eva.

I have some good news for you. I found a modest beautiful and comfortable hotel near my house, because as you know I´ve been living in the centre of town for one year. It is very cheap clear hotel with friendly and polite staffs. It hotel has all facilities. If you want, I´ll make you to reservation by an ensuite room . I´ll buy tickets by tourist bus too. We´ll see the most important places of the city.
Well, that´s all for now, I hope your answer about my information soon. My family send you regards.
Bye for now.

Hi Chris
I`m happy to receive your news, although I’m worry because you´re ill and I hope you are ok right now. I´m very pleasure with your brother`s new job!
I´m well and a quite happy because I`ve known a new boy, he`s very tall, handsome (I think so, lol, I´m going to tell you with details) my family is pleasure to hear news about you. Lately my friends and I have been gone out and discovered new places, for example, last week we went to play pain ball, it was fantastic, we enjoyed a lot and probably we´ll do someday.
Of course, we´re going to different places, there´s a new restaurant, I’m sure you like it because there`re creative food or if you prefer, we can go to the beach or go for a picnic and we´re going to a party too (I know you love it) and you are going to stay in my house and I won´t accept a negative answer!
Anyway, that`s all for now, please take more vitamin C.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon
Take care.

Hi Chris,

I’m glad you recovered from the flu. Did you get flu last year too? Perhaps, you should vaccinate against flu next autumn.

In my house everything went back to the normal course of events after the summer holidays. I’m teaching accounting again and I’ve restarted my English class although many things are changed because I’ve got a new teacher and new classmates. My children are well, my daughter goes on studying chemistry and my son grows quickly. Congratulate your brother on his new job, I’m sure he feels very happy because he’s always saying how much he loves the music.

What lovely surprise! I’m very pleased you are going to my town next May. If I were you, I would stay in my house but, if you prefer, I could recommend you the university hall. I was told it’s visited by many foreign students and professors because it’s well placed and good value. Whit regard to your free time here, when you arrive, we can decide what you would like to visit even though I’ve some ideas that you’ll enjoy yourself. Can’t wait to hear from you.

Best wishes,

Eva

Hi Chris,
I'm glad to hear from you. Don't worry I know how busy you usually are, anyway I've been busy to. I'm sorry very much you had a flu and I hope you could start your classes next week. I was said you have a boyfriend now, but perhaps it isn't true because you don't tell mi about. Please tell me something about it.

I'm well, as well as my family. As you know I usually work very much to keep feet and healthy and I try to avoid the first flu of this winter. I've got also an exciting project for this winter so to be feet is very important. I wont to travel for three months in Patagonia, but don't worry I'll be back when you'll visit my town.

I'm very happy because of your next visit . Of course I'll be pleased showing you my town. I know a little hotel near my house, not expensive, charming and comfortable. Any way if you come alone, you can stay at home. There is a bedroom, but with a single bed.

We'll be in touch
Love
Eva
